Here at AJ Community Care we are celebrating after receiving ‘The Care Employer Award’ at the Greater Yorkshire and Humberside Care Awards. Better still, this means that we have been shortlisted for the national awards which take place during 2012.
As you would expect we are absolutely thrilled to have won the award and it is for each and every member of the AJ Community Care Team. The Care Employer Award demonstrates our commitment to our service users and the carers who work so hard to make a real difference to the people and families that we help and support.
It’s wonderful to be recognised for our values, which we developed alongside our team and for our vision, which we know places us at the forefront of the care market. It’s thanks to our commitment to delivering excellent care for our service users, and encouraging them to lead independent lives wherever possible, which stands us out from the crowd.
Lisa Carr, Director of the Great British Care Awards commented: “These awards recognise and pay tribute to the efforts and dedication of all those who work tirelessly to ensure that so many people are able to live independent lives in their own homes. They are the perfect showcase to reflect on best practice in the social care sector. A sector where people truly dedicate themselves to their work and take pride in their achievements.”
Well done to everyone who works in the AJ team. We should all be very proud of this achievement and we hope that you will join us in a collective round of applause to celebrate.
