A Letter of Thanks
The letter below was received from Mr. and Mrs. Shelton who both received Care and Support from AJ Community Care Support Workers until Mr. Shelton sadly passed away in 2012. This letter was read to the Care Team that provided his 24hr Care and Support when they received their awards during National Carers Week (13-19th June) to receive recocnition for their hardwork and loyalty.
Dear Care Team
Mr. Shelton and I would like to thank you all for all the help and support you have given to us over the last few years, especially over the last 3 weeks when Mr. Shelton was in hospital and had to have a RIG fitted. You all came voluntary and did your 8 hr shifts in turn, this was beyond the call of duty and you have all had to work extremely hard to get your certificate towards being able to use the RIG for medication, food and fluid which keeps Mr. Shelton alive.
There are no words to express how much we care about you, we have a extremely special team of carers who are loyal in every way, dedicated reliable and very compassionate . No one could ever replace you.
You are the best.
I hope this inspires new carers to realises how much they are appreciated , and that care is not just personal care it may involve going the extra mile. As our carers do basic nursing care and after use special equipment such as Cpap machines, suction machine, physio and breathing apparatus and also pressure areas and many other tasks. The opportunities are there if you want to be that special carer and we really hope you do.
Thank you to AJ for being that special company in every department.
Mr and Mrs Shelton
